Thirty-some years later and they're still pissed at the French Candidate

Go read this moving account of the pain Kerry's treasonous post-Viet Nam Senate testimony still causes.

In Bill's World: Kerry smeared a hero: my dad

Missing American Found Alive

I heard his voice on the radio at the top of the hour news on KCMO.

Yes, John Edwards is ALIVE! He has been missing and presumed held captive since the Democratic convention.

The communique mentions over 1,000 dead in Iraq so it may have been taped as early as two weeks ago. I imagine that Secret Service agents are going over the tapes for clues as to Edwards whereabouts.

John Kerry, Once a Traitor, Always a Traitor

Ok, so Allawi comes to the US and seeks to buck up world support. He adresses a joint session of Congress and where is Mr. Mom? In a firehouse in OHIO! Why didn't the wuss resign his Senate seat so that someone could represent Massachusetts besides the other poster boy for the Bay State, Tedward.

Kerry must have extraordinary powers of perception. He managed to know more about the situation in Iraq than Allawi, who is on the ground fighting the good fight.

Shortly after Allawi, the interim government's prime minister, gave a rosy portrayal of progress toward peace in Iraq, Kerry said the assessment contradicted reality on the ground.

How pray tell is Mr. fancy pants, I went to Swiss boarding schools and Daddy was a diplomat, going to recruit allies for the US if he keeps shitting all over our friends?

Kerry Throws in Towel in Missouri

It was reported in the news today that the so-called "Kerry campaign" is cancelling a large ad buy in Missouri. I am ecstatic. This can't be good for Claire either since it will help to depress Democratic turnout. Heck, if I were a Dem and Kerry were running, I'd be on suicide watch.

In a similar vein, I was at the Johnson County Republican Headquarters this afternoon talking to some very fine people and they told me that the national campaign is not allocating any money for B/C '04 yardsigns. I think this is bad for Chris Kobach since we need to get folks excited about voting for GOP winners this year and big GOP turnout will help defeat incumbent Democrat Dennis Moore.

I'm just wild about Tu-RAY-zu

I am so happy that both W and Laura and John and Tuh-RAY-zu are both going on Dr. Phil. I think that every time she opens her mouth, Kerry loses ground to Bush.

Witness:
The exchange goes like this:
12 News Reporter: Most of the polls are tracking that Sen John Kerry as doing a better job on the economy. My question is, why hasn’t that transferred overall in the poll numbers?

Teresa: It has, of course. Of course it has.

Reporter: He’s still down.

Teresa: He’s not. Did you see the polls today? You saw Zogby and ARG —

Reporter: Yes, but he’s still down in Arizona.

Teresa: Oh, who cares? You know, one state is not a whole state. In the whole United States, he is even, even, and in some of them one point ahead, and in some one point behind.

Her "Oh, who cares" is just about the most priceless moment of this campaign. No matter what else happens this campaign, I have to thank the voters of Iowa for making sure we got to experience this absolutely perfect moment.
(sigh) Why not tell the whole state to “shove it”, while you’re at it?

This just in Kerry is Toast

IEM 2004 US Presidential Election Winner Takes All Market Price Graph

In case you don't know about the Iowa Electronic Markets, it is an honest to goodness futures market where you can buy a contract that pays you a dollar if Kerry wins and another contract that pays you a dollar if Bush wins. Kerry's price got to be so low that they split the contracts to include vote percentage.

Translation probability of Bush win is .63 or thereabouts.

CBS, the Democrats, Kerry, and the French.

I hope Kerry is leading the Democrats into a rout of Modale-like proportions. Kerry thinks any coalition that doesn't have France is just not a fitting coalition. Earth to KERRY, they aren't our friends.

Telegraph | News | Agent behind fake uranium documents worked for France: "Italian diplomats have claimed that, by disseminating bogus documents stating that Iraq was trying to buy low-grade 'yellowcake' uranium from Niger, France was trying to 'set up' Britain and America in the hope that when the mistake was revealed it would undermine the case for war, which it wanted to prevent."

John Kerry, I knew JFK, you're no JFK.

Money quote:

TimesDispatch.com | The Grand Deception:: "Kerry's meeting with Madame Binh representing the Viet Cong and with other members of the Vietnamese Communist delegations to the Paris Peace Conference in 1970, while he was yet a Naval Reserve officer, constitute meeting with the enemy during time of war. "

The real John F. Kennedy hated communism. Bobby worked for freakin' McCarthy.
