Modern Miracles

I just bought a book from an English magician over the web. Amazing. In a couple of weeks a book that I read about on a website will appear magically at my house and a bill in US dollars will appear on my Visa bill. This is just so cool.

Oh, and I bought a couple of books from an Australian author over a website that must be the Aussie equivalent of Amazon. Yes I checked Zon first and they didn't have it. Again, currency translation handled seamlessly.

I'll report on the exchange rates that I get when I finally get my bill. I imagine that the rate will be competitive. When I used my ATM card in Canada a few years ago, BoA was very much superior to the local merchants.
