When the Lawrence decision struck down Texas's sodomy laws, along with Missouri's and Kansas's, I predicted that polygamy laws were next. Johathan Turley agrees with me.

Now, I don't want government to be strong enough to regulate what I do in my bedroom. However, overturning laws that try to regulate such behavior is the responsibility of the people, either through referrenda or through their elected government. Repeal of laws through judicial fiat results in people who don't bother to vote because their vote is irrelevant to the way they live their lives.
